As we observe America Recycles Day, Triniti Salon is proud to share our dedication to sustainable practices. At Triniti, we believe that every small effort contributes to a brighter, greener future, and recycling is a big part of our mission. From the products we use to the packaging we dispose of, we’re committed to reducing waste and making a positive impact on the environment.
The beauty industry generates a staggering amount of waste – in the U.S. and Canada alone, salons produce approximately 877 pounds of waste every minute, adding up to a daily total of around 421,000 pounds. Much of this comes from the plastic bottles, tubes, and single-use items like gloves and caps that are used every day in salons.
Paper waste is also a significant contributor, with packaging materials and administrative supplies adding to the overall waste footprint. These numbers drive home the importance of recycling within our industry, and at Triniti Salon, we’re doing our part to reduce this impact.
Our salon recycles nearly every material that passes through our doors. Color tubes, hair foils, plastic tubes and tubs, and paper products are all recycled with care and responsibility. Every empty tube of color, every foil used during a coloring session, and every plastic tub that housed hair treatments find their way into our recycling process, rather than a landfill.
Even the boxes and paper sheets used to package our products are conscientiously recycled. We believe that by recycling these materials, we can help reduce the waste footprint of our salon and contribute to a cleaner environment.
Our sustainable practices extend beyond recycling – we actively seek out ways to minimize waste. As part of our commitment, we’ve partnered with eco-conscious companies that share our values. We also encourage our clients to embrace sustainable habits by offering refill options for popular products, helping clients save while reducing packaging waste.
